Antonine University’s (UA) Office of Student Affairs (OSA), in collaboration with the Lebanese Red Cross (LRC), invites students to take part in Red Is the New Hero, a blood drive dedicated to helping those in need.
Every day, patients across Lebanon rely on blood donations, whether they are undergoing surgery, facing complications during childbirth, recovering from accidents, or receiving treatment for serious illnesses. Your donation could help save a life.
What to Expect
Trained LRC professionals will guide participants through the donation process, which includes:
- a brief registration and health screening;
- a safe, sterile blood donation procedure;
- light refreshments afterward.
Before You Donate
To prepare for your donation, remember to eat a proper meal, stay hydrated, and get a good night’s sleep. The LRC team will determine donor eligibility on the day of the event.
