    Organizing and Developing Outdoor Activities: Toward a Flourishing Industry

    The Faculty of Sport Sciences (FSS) at Antonine University (UA) is organizing the first event of its kind in Lebanon, under the high patronage of the Ministries of Youth and Sports, Environment, and Tourism. The aim of this event is to promote UA’s University Diploma in Mountain Guide and Outdoor Activities as a solution to help organize the outdoor activities sector in Lebanon. The event will bring together key stakeholders involved in outdoor activities and ecotourism in Lebanon, including representatives from Lebanese sports federations, municipalities, national reserves, NGOs, destination management organizations (DMOs), and outdoor sports media.

    The event will cover the following topics:

    • Outdoor and Sports Activities Legislation in Lebanon: Existing and in Progress
    • The University Diploma Offering a New Job Standard in Lebanon: Prospects for Adoption by Different Ministries
    • The UA Vision and the Various Partnerships for the Future of the Outdoor Tourism Sector
