The Power of Hope: Let Your Mind and Heart Bloom
A university does not only transmit knowledge. It shapes human beings.
And human beings cannot flourish without hope.
Integral human development demands more than academic excellence; it calls for sustainable well-being of mind, heart, and community. In this spirit, the Vice Rectorate for Integral Human Development (VRIHD) at Antonine University (UA) presents the fifth edition of the Wellness and Mental Health Week, under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Health and in collaboration with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Regional Office in Beirut.
This year’s theme, “The Power of Hope: Let Your Mind and Heart Bloom,” explores hope as an active and transformative force. In a context marked by academic pressure, economic challenges, and social uncertainty, hope becomes more than a feeling; it becomes a practice that nurtures resilience, purpose, and growth.
Throughout the Week, around 25 experts from Canada, France, South Korea, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the United States, and Lebanon will lead on-campus and hybrid sessions addressing the dimensions of the UA Wellness Wheel. Participants will gain practical tools to strengthen emotional, spiritual, physical, academic, social, and professional well-being.
