Since the devastating earthquakes in the area a few weeks ago, Lebanon has been subject to frequent and strong tremors. Earthquakes and other catastrophic events can imprint post-traumatic reactions on some individuals.
In light of these events, the Counseling Service at Antonine University (UA) is organizing an on-campus awareness session as part of the How to Be Mentally Stronger, Happier, and Resilient series. The conference entitled Earthquakes and Tremors: Post-Traumatic Stress or Post-Traumatic Growth? will discuss strategies for coping with anxiety and the trauma brought on by disasters.
Audience: Open to the public
Date: Thursday, March 9, 2023
Time: 2:30–3:30 PM
Location: Hadat–Baabda Campus, Building G, Room G.2.7
