With many nations benefiting from a multicultural environment, the world is rapidly becoming a global village. Understanding different cultures is not only critical, but it also encourages peaceful coexistence. For this reason, and as part of the MED2IaH project’s Bootcamp that took place in June 2022, Slovenia, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at Antonine University (UA) is launching the Gather Around a Culture monthly series, aiming to raise awareness among UA students about different cultures around the world. During each month, students will learn about a specific culture in a fun and effective way by studying its language, understanding geography and economic practices, evaluating its cuisine, etc.
The launching of the series begins with the first session tackling the culture that started it all, Slovenia.
