As part of the fifth edition of the Wellness and Mental Health Week, themed “The Power of Hope: Let Your Mind and Heart Bloom,” taking place at Antonine University (UA) from October 5 to 10, 2026, the Wellness Youth Day will be held on October 10.
Wellness Youth Day is a dynamic experience designed to inspire young adults to view health not as a short-term goal, but as a lifelong commitment. Rooted in the belief that resilience begins early, this initiative underscores the essential role of movement, awareness, and preventive care in shaping balanced and empowered individuals.
Organized in partnership with UA’s Faculty of Sport Sciences and the Office of Athletics, this day creates a space where education meets experience. High school students are invited to engage in activities that demonstrate how physical exercise, teamwork, and healthy habits strengthen not only the body, but also the mind and social connections.
An awareness session will be delivered by Ms. Nicole El Beyrouthy, entitled “Train Your Mindset Like a Champion.” The session aims to help students understand how mindset, emotional regulation, and resilience directly influence performance, confidence, and well-being. Through interactive exercises, participants will discover practical strategies to manage stress, think flexibly, and perform under pressure.
Wellness Youth Day also serves as a gateway for students to explore academic pathways and future careers in sport sciences, health, and well-being at Antonine University. By promoting a culture of prevention, responsibility, and resilience, the event reflects UA’s ongoing commitment to equipping young generations with the knowledge, confidence, and habits necessary to lead healthier, purpose-driven lives.
About the Awareness Session
The workshop “Train Your Mindset Like a Champion” is a hands-on, fast-paced session designed to help students:
- understand how hope can be developed as a practical skill;
- explore how mindset, environment, and emotions shape performance;
- learn how stress can either hinder or enhance results;
- apply mental preparation techniques used by athletes to academic and everyday challenges.
Participants will leave with concrete tools to regulate emotions under pressure, build resilience after setbacks, and strengthen confidence in competitive and school environments.
What Happens Next?
At the end of the day, the top three winning schools and the MVP of each competition will be announced during the closing ceremony.
Each participant will receive a certificate of participation.
