In honor of International Women’s Day, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at Antonine University (UA) and the Human Environmental Association for Development (HEAD), in collaboration with the Arab Network for Environment and Development (RAED), are organizing an engaging activity for students that promotes women’s empowerment and raises awareness of the challenges they might face in society. Eng. Marie-Therese Seif, President of HEAD, will open the session with a live intervention from the Headquarters of the United Nations (UN) in New York City. The participants will then take part in a seminar on how women can use their skills as tools to help them become financially independent, followed by a workshop where they will learn the craft of candlemaking and how to work with resin as they create their own candles.
