    Lebanese Spoken at the Heart of Francophonie

    Under the High Patronage of the Ministry of Culture, and to celebrate Francophonie Month, the language center at Antonine University – Nabi Ayla Zahle campus, and in collaboration with Lebanese French Cultural Institute represented by Mr. Damien Guyard, Attaché de cooperation for the French language, have the pleasure to invite you to attend a cultural meeting entitled
    “Le libanais parlé au cœur de la francophonie” (Lebanese spoken at the heart of Francophonie).

    The event will be animated by Dr. Jihane Chaker Sultani Milelli, PhD in Anthropology, Ethnology and Religious Sciences, Editor, and author of the French-Lebanese dictionary, and by
    Ms. Caroline Torbey, Author of the series “ Dessine-moi un proverbe, les proverbes libanais racontés aux enfants” (Lebanese proverbs written for children).

    The event moderator will be Dr. Joseph Omran, from the Faculty of Literature and Human Sciences, Lebanese University. An assortment of songs from the French repertoire will be performed by tenor Gabriel Abdel Nour.

    Note that the debate will take place in French and Arabic. A signing session and a cocktail reception will follow the ceremony.
