Community Holistic Well-being

The holistic well-being of the UA community encompasses academic, emotional, social, spiritual, physical, financial, and professional dimensions. It comprises career and professional development, vibrant campus life, health and wellness initiatives, financial support, diversity and inclusion programs, multilingual counseling services, and personal development opportunities. An education of this caliber is boosted by a lively student life, which offers experiential learning by means of campus activities, cultural events, and leadership opportunities. Community members participate in governance, which ensures that their perspectives influence institutional policies and the implementation of bottom-up proposals.
All support services are continuously assessed through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics.

Goal 1: Reinforce a human-centered culture in a wellness-friendly, healthy, and wealthy environment

A. Formalize a culture of well-being, positive psychology, and mental health, and formulate a dedicated policy by June 2026 that provides implementation guidelines and sets an annual review process.

B. Achieve full implementation of the UA Plus Program in all faculties and programmatic departments by December 2026, and extend its reach to benefit academic and administrative staff.

C. Allocate and equip one multifunctional outdoor space on each campus, by the end of 2027, as an environment suited for low-stimulation activities and informal gatherings.

Goal 2: Strengthen students’ sense of belonging and purpose

A. Launch a student mentorship program by September 2026 to support first-year students in need of guidance, by pairing them with trained mentors and monitoring engagement through semester-based feedback.

B. Put in place a recognition pathway by March 2028 to honor the contributions of students and alumni.
