Academic Excellence

Academic excellence is built on student-centered learning. Quality assurance relies on systematic program revision and evaluation, data-driven assessment of teaching methods, student satisfaction rates, and ongoing pedagogical innovation. Instructors’ professional growth plays a key role, as it enhances classroom quality and learning outcomes. Academic support, advising, internships, and strategic partnerships bridge theory and practice, and equip students with the knowledge, skills, and adaptability needed to succeed academically and professionally.

Goal 1: Formalize a culture of quality, integrity, and continuous improvement for study programs

A. Implement the program review cycle to ensure that 100% of study programs undergo a systematic revision and evaluation at least once every three years, starting with the annual review of one-third of the programs in 2026.

B. Restructure the Office of Strategic Initiatives and Quality Assurance (ISAQ) to establish a renewed mandate that assigns responsibility for monitoring and evaluating the triennial review cycle conducted for 100% of study programs, with the first round completed by March 2027.

C. Initiate the international accreditation cycle for 100% of currently non-accredited study programs by June 2026.

Goal 2: Promote UA as an innovative environment for teaching, learning, and continuous education

A. Launch a faculty mentoring program through the Antonine Learning Lab (ALL) by March 2026, centered on the enhancement of teaching practices and the integration of digital pedagogy and tools.

B. Accelerate pedagogical innovation through seven technology-enhanced learning spaces actively used by at least three faculties and programmatic departments by the 2026–27 academic year.

C. Launch the Continuing Education Center by March 2027 to deliver at least five future-focused and market-driven programs annually that serve professionals and lifelong learners.

Goal 3: Expand the comparability, recognition, and outreach of UA’s study programs at the regional and international levels, with a focus on the Middle East and Euro-Mediterranean area

A. Increase the number of collaborative projects with international partner universities by 25%, and boost incoming and outgoing student mobility by 20% and 30%, respectively, by the end of 2027.

B. Aim to develop and launch one new dual diploma program per faculty and programmatic department in collaboration with international institutions by 2028.
