Institutional Sustainability

UA’s long-term resilience and impact rest on accountable governance, strategic foresight, and sustainable practices. The University is strengthening its regulatory framework and governance structures to ensure multidimensional development for future generations. Sustainability and value-driven action guide campus life through green initiatives, environmental responsibility, and expanded accessibility. Continuous communication among administration, instructors, administrative staff, and students builds a culture of shared responsibility and collective advancement.

Goal 1: Preserve UA’s governance and reinforce its multidimensional capacity for development in service of future generations

A. Review and update all regulatory documents by September 2027, and ensure their explicit transmission to all units concerned.

B. Create a legally registered university foundation by September 2028, with an initial fundraising target tied to two development projects.

C. Enhance the strategic role of the Board of Trustees by the end of 2026 through closer collaboration, an expanded advisory role, and increased participation in institutional fundraising.

Goal 2: Translate UA’s commitment to its values into concrete actions

A. Integrate greening culture and environmental responsibility into community life by September 2026 through at least three annual initiatives with student participation tracked.

B. Increase the number of accessible spaces by 30% by early 2027 to better accommodate the needs of students with difficulties, with annual audits to ensure compliance and usability.
