The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at Antonine University (UA), in partnership with NOMADS, invites UA students to “Hike for Insights: Discover Ehmej,” an outdoor adventure through the scenic valleys, rocky landscapes, and cedar groves of Ehmej.
The journey begins in Naznaze Valley, where the golden foliage of Turkey oak trees and impressive rock formations create a distinctive autumn landscape. As participants gradually ascend to the trail’s highest point, they will enjoy scenic mountain views before continuing into Siyar Valley, where the landscape shifts to reveal another peaceful side of the Ehmej mountains.
The hike concludes at the Cedars of Ehmej, offering a rewarding end to a journey that combines physical activity, nature exploration, and shared experiences.
With a moderate difficulty level, the trail is suitable for participants with a reasonable level of physical fitness.
This activity aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 15: Life on Land, reflecting UA’s holistic approach to student well-being and sustainable engagement through the UA Plus Program.
