Infrastructure

The Faculty of Engineering (FOE) at Antonine University (UA) provides engineering students with fundamental infrastructure that are essential for their study.

Computer Labs
These labs are available to students for instruction and project execution and are equipped with 25 computers each.

Computer Multimedia Lab
The multimedia lab is equipped with USB MIDI keyboards, sound equipment and software, a gaming computer, virtual reality headsets, and 25 computers.

Computer and Networking Lab
The networking laboratory is equipped with computers and network hardware and software that can be used to build local-area and wide-area computer networks and simulate their architecture. The lab has 24 stations connected to Cisco routers and switches.

Computer CAD and GIS Lab
This lab is available to students for instruction and project execution and is equipped with 25 computers.

Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems Lab
In this laboratory, students use digital integrated circuits, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and FPGAs to build a variety of circuits and systems. The lab is equipped with 32 computers and 10 Altera FPGA boards and microprocessor programmers.

Electric Circuits and Magnetics Lab
In the electric and magnetics laboratory, first and second-year students can carry out experiments and measurements in electric circuits and electromagnetics. Equipment includes oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, function generators, power supplies, and frequency counters.

Electronics Lab
In the electronics laboratory, third-year students can carry out experiments in circuits and electronics featuring diode and transistor circuits, amplifiers, op-amps, wave generators, and digital electronics. Equipment includes oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, function generators, power supplies, and frequency counters.

Analog and Digital Transmission Lab
The Analog and Digital Transmission Lab is equipped with network analyzers, RF signal generators, and power meters. Students can use it to design, build, and test RF filters and power amplifiers.

Transmission Lines and Communications Lab
In this lab, students can carry out experiments in analog and digital modulation and transmission techniques.

Fabrication Lab
This laboratory is equipped with manufacturing equipment required for the label Fab Lab. It helps students to work on their final-year projects or achieve any project that requires manufacturing.
