The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at Antonine University (UA) invites you to attend the Drama Club’s latest theatrical production, “The Virtuous Burglar” (عَلقِة حَراميّة), directed by Mr. Michel Hourany.
This one-act farce, written by Italian playwright Dario Fo—recipient of the 1997 Nobel Prize in Literature—offers a sharp satire of bourgeois hypocrisy through a burglary gone hilariously wrong. When a thief breaks into an apartment, he soon finds himself trapped amid secrets, misunderstandings, and comic chaos that reveal more about human nature than any crime ever could.
