The Board of Trustees (BOT) is the supreme governing body of Antonine University (UA) and ensures that it is heading in the right direction. The BOT is vested with the power to:
- oversee the general operations of the University, assess its performance, identify and manage strategic risks and opportunities, and formulate strategies to support UA’s educational activities and promote long-term sustainable development in all respects;
- promulgate rules and regulations that govern UA and ensure that the University always fulfills its legal obligations;
- approve the Organic Statute and make amendments, if necessary, as the University must always operate in accordance with this governing document;
- approve UA’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plan;
- provide oversight of internal and external audit processes;
- manage year-end closing, UA’s financial statements, and annual budget;
- control and manage waqf properties, buildings, assets, donations, and scholarships.
