Regional Campuses Councils

The Regional Campuses Councils are governance bodies established to support the campus directors and deans’ delegates in carrying out their respective responsibilities. They play a key advisory and supervisory role, overseeing campus-related affairs and ensuring the implementation of strategic decisions made by the University’s highest governing bodies, namely, the UA Council and the Administrative Council.

Their primary mission is to define short and long-term objectives that enhance the student experience on campus, while developing policies and procedures aligned with UA’s mission and vision. The Councils also work to create a learning environment that reflects the University’s pursuit of excellence and to promote initiatives that encourage intercultural engagement within the campus community.

In addition, the Regional Campuses Councils play a vital role in ensuring that academic and administrative members remain fully committed to UA’s strategic objectives, while inspiring students to embody the core values upheld by the University.

The Regional Campuses Councils convene at least twice per semester according to a predefined schedule. Meetings are chaired by the Campus Director and attended by the Administrative Director, deans’ or heads’ delegates from the faculties or departments, a representative of part-time faculty members, and a student representative.
